CleveMed to Support Healthcare Providers with Data Analytics Reports

Oct 16, 2018

“Sleep centers can use this report to meet quality requirements for American Academy of Sleep Medicine accreditation. Our customers may not have the time to analyze their sleep data; yet, such information is valuable to them. This is especially true for large customers who deal with thousands of studies, routinely.”

CleveMed, a leading home sleep testing (HST) technology and fulfillment service provider, is offering a free pilot of their quarterly reporting service called SleepView Insight℠. SleepView Insight will provide customers with an in-depth analysis of their HST studies. Once requested by the healthcare provider, CleveMed’s customer support team creates the quarterly report free of charge beginning with the fourth quarter of 2018, which offers summaries on HST data, such as demographics, screening results, disease severity, comorbidities, turnaround time, study completion rates, and others. “After many years of closely working with customers to develop our sleep services platform, we are now taking the next step, which is to help customers review, analyze, and report on their patient populations” said Craig Frederick, Director of Engineering.

“Our portal houses a tremendous amount of data that, if summarized in an easy-to-read format, could provide valuable analytics to healthcare providers as they improve clinical outcomes and optimize operational efficiency. Sleep centers can use this report to meet quality requirements for American Academy of Sleep Medicine accreditation. Our customers may not have the time to analyze their sleep data; yet, such information is valuable to them. This is especially true for large customers who deal with thousands of studies, routinely,” said Sarah Weimer, CleveMed’s Director of Sleep Products and Services.

CleveMed’s SleepView is the smallest and lightest sleep monitor on the market that exceeds the American Academy of Sleep Medicine guidelines. CleveMed’s fulfilment service (SleepView Direct) allows sleep physicians and centers to expand their

reach by adding a mail order program to their testing services with minimal staff time involved.

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), the most prevalent form of sleep apnea, is a repeated interruption of normal breathing during sleep due to a collapse of the upper airway. It is estimated to impact as many people as asthma and diabetes; yet, up to 80 percent of the population with the disease remain undiagnosed and untreated. Moreover, OSA leads to serious health and economic consequences. Numerous studies link OSA to major chronic diseases, such as stroke, heart failure, diabetes, obesity, hypertension and increased odds of serious vehicle crash injuries.
